Best Wishes for 2010
I hope that everyone had a very peaceful but enjoyable Christmas.
I'd like to pass on all my thanks to players, parents, family and friends who have turned up to watch and cheer on the boys throughout the year.
Reflecting back over the year I feel the team has grown in stature and confidence. After successfully gaining promotion to the Douglas league for the start of this season I was a little concerned how the team would cope against better opposition, however after a bit of a non consistent start the boys again began to believe in their abilities and the performances improved as well as the results. The team saw the addittion of "Wee Mickey" and more recently Kyle. Mickey has already displayed that he has an eye for the goal. Although Kyle's performances have been halted by all the postponments due to the weather I'm sure he will bring good attributes to the team on the return of the season. Well done to the rest of the boys for sometimes gritty, sometimes frustrating and sometimes absolute magnificent football.
This only leaves me to wish you all the very best for 2010. I hope you will all continue to support the boys.
