Broxburn started the game a little bit below par but eventually got into their normal passing game. We took the lead on 10mins, this gave the boys confidence as they settled down and retained better / longer periods of possession of the ball. One mistake allowed East Calder to score a goal in the 1st half that ended 5-1.
A change of personel at half time allowed the team to use all of the park to which the opposition could not match. Broxburn continued to play as a team and it wasn't long before the score increased. The boys went on to score another 5 in the second half without reply. A good display by the stand-in goalkeepers. Well done to all the boys for a good team performance.
