Club fundraising event : Bag-packing @ Scotmid, Broxburn on Saturday 6th October 2007 (15/05/2008) |
The team will be bag-packing at Scotmid, Broxburn on Saturday 6th October 2007 from 10am to 4pm to help help raise funds for Gothenburg 2008.
A rota will be distributed at training on Wednesday.

Club fundraising event : Fun Night / Disco @ The Club on Friday 21st September 2007 (15/05/2008) |
After a successful Tournament in Gothenburg Sweden this year, we are now starting to raise funds for the team to hopefully return to Gothenburg in 2008.
The first fundraising event will be a 60s / 70s Disco which will be held in the Club, Broxburn on Friday 21st September 2007 at 1930hrs.
As we will be relying mainly on the ticket sales we are asking where possible for all parents to get involved. The function suite holds 140 people so why not come along and bring your friends.
We are also holding a raffle so any donations would greatly be appreciated.
Tickets are priced £5.00 and can be purchased from any of the committee.

Both teams request that the local community support the above match, which is being held in memory of Reece Anderson (Uphall Diamonds) who was tragically killed earlier this year at the age of 14.

Dates for Gothia Cup 2008 have now been announced as follows:
Sunday 13th – Saturday 19th July 2008.
Following this year’s success, it is hoped that the team will return to Gothenburg next year.

BACFC (1992) will be holding another Car Wash (in aid of club funds) at the Broxburn Fire Station on Sunday 24th June 2007 between 10am and 4pm.

The club are trying to create a Photo Gallery on the website that can reflect some of the team’s highs (and lows) from previous seasons.
If you have any photos that you think may be suitable (soccer 7s or 11-a-side) please pass them to Ian or Kenny.
All photos will be returned in their original condition within a few days.

Broxburn Athletic Colts Football Club (Born 1992) prides itself as being one of the few teams in Central Scotland that consists entirely of local boys who, through their dedication and determination reached two Cup Finals this season.
In July the team will be travelling to Gothenburg, Sweden to represent Broxburn (and the Region) in The Gothia Cup (The Youth World Cup) where 67 different nations have already registered to compete.
While the accomplishments of our team can be clearly seen, our achievements would not have been possible without the support of sponsorship, donations and fundraising activities.
If you feel that you and your company would like to help contribute to the local community, please could you consider providing a sponsorship or donation (however small) for Broxburn Athletic Colts FC (Born 1992) to help our local youths succeed in their dreams.
As a minimum, team sponsors will be recognised through team newsletters and the team website, however other forms of recognition are available.
